I recently used my camcorder for the first time and wanted to know if there were any programs on the web to stream it to my computer to burn to a dvd. Its a JVC GR-550U Mini DV.
You need to connect your camcorder to the PC via firewire. If your PC hasn't already got one, you'll need to install a firewire card and connect it to the camcorder with a firewire cable. You can use Windows Movie Maker to capture and edit your footage
