My Panasonic GS15GC Mini DV Camcorder does not play the Head Cleaner Tape.?

Today I bought a Mini DV Sony Head Cleaning tape for cleaning the head of my Panasonic Camcorder. But when i insert the tape and play, the tape doesnt run and the time is at 0h0m00s.

The tapes i play in it are pixelating and the frames

A head cleaning is the first step in resolving a problem like yours but I wondering if the Sony tape is 'locked'. Check that and see. If that's okay, then contact Sony and see if they can advise you further.
