how can i turn a mini cam into a night vision?

i have this mini cam and want to turn it into a night vision,read some intructions on the net to remove the ir filter, but to my dismay, the cam i have has a buillt-in ir filter, will i just have to pry it off or will i be just damaging the cam?the one
