I got a laptop not so long ago, about spring of 2008. About 3 - 4 months after getting my laptop it wouldn't turn on suddenly one day for no reason, so I sent it away to get repaired. After it coming back from being "repaired" I discovered 2 months later the webcam wasn't working along with other things. I've managed to fix everything else,(apart from the battery, which I'm going to buy) but I still have no solution to fixing my webcam - which is built into my laptop. I have tried everything I could possibly try, downloading the most recent driver software for it, doing a full system restore, and I don't know what to do anymore. My computer has all the software for my webcam but still tells me that it cannot find the webcam and that I'll have to plug in a webcam or turn on my integrated webcam. But how? When my settings won't allow me to configure them?
