OK I have a Microsoft Life Cam Vx-3000 and i have windows xp sp1 professional. how can i get it to work/run?

OK I have a Microsoft Life Cam Vx-3000 and i have windows xp sp1 professional. I just bought the web cam like 2 hours ago and i dont have the right service pack and i would like to know if there is a way i can get it to run on sp1?

i would upgrade to either service pack one or two and because you are only using one it is a good indication that your usb mite not be usb 2.0
